Two Day Silver Fingerprint Jewellery Course
Hi Pam, Thank you for such a great course. I learnt so much and loved your manner when teaching, also your easy step by step instructions, patience and great advice on the processes.
I wanted to do something that gave me the day off from my toddler and I have always been crazy about jewellery. I had previously looked into buying a franchise to make children’s jewellery so was very interested in learning how to make pieces and the techniques.
The studio was fantastic, great big light room. It was so well set up so we could all walk around and do different stages of the process without being cramped.
On the first day we learnt how to make photopolymer plates and discussed what we would like to make over the two days.
During the second day I upped a gear and put what I had learnt into action. On the computer, I learnt how to get the photo polymer plate pictures spaced so you could make the photopolymer plates easily. I learnt how to add gem stones and polish silver correctly.
I made many pieces of jewellery, dog tags for my husband, key rings, pendants with stones and footprints of my child.
I came very prepared for learning as much as possible and I am pleased with the outcome.
My friends have placed orders and loved their presents.
Now that the class has finished I have skills and am now feeling confident that I could turn my knowledge into a hobby business.
Thank you once again for such a fantastic course. Laurellee
I haven’t stopped talking about my two day workshop experience at the Metal Clay Studio north of Perth since I arrived home in Melbourne. Two days spent working with Pam in her extremely well equipped studio ignited my creativity and desire to produce more jewellery from this amazing medium. As a total novice, I found Pam’s ability to pass on her knowledge through demonstration and supervised practice rewarding. It was impossible to fail and I produced four items of interesting silver jewellery in two days.
While learning to handle the metal clay, many techniques were taught including design, mock up, texturising, drying, sanding, engraving, drilling, firing, patina application, stone setting and polishing. Pam had so many examples and techniques to share, and with a dedicated studio, so many examples on display and her hands on approach to teaching, it was surprisingly easy for a beginner to feel a real sense of achievement.
Pam’s approach is friendly and encouraging. It was such a relaxing and exciting workshop to attend. The individual attention ensured that techniques were learnt correctly. Great work, Pam. Thank you.

Dear Pam,
How wonderful the time was that I spent with you at your Two Rocks home. The 3 days were such an enjoyable experience that awakened my imagination with the endless possibilities of polymer.
Thank you for sharing your knowledge with me and for your relaxed and patient teaching methods. I loved the way we were able to move so fluidly from one technique to another and how from your collection of books you were able to show me different examples of the one technique.
Being a mountains girl, it was lovely to be able to walk to the beach, or sit and relax by the pool after lunch before the afternoon session. Thank you for all those delicious meals.
I have come home with such enthusiasm to start making and baking and looking forward to trying each of the different techniques out. I look forward to seeing you on one of your visits to the East Coast and if not, then I will look forward to visiting the West Coast again.
With many thanks,

Dear Pam,
Thank you for a fabulous weekend. It was wonderful having you all to myself. As a newcomer to PMC it was great to have a one to one lesson on the finer points of this amazing product. Your studio and equipment were a joy to use.
The accommodation was clean and comfortable and the meals delicious.
I'm recommending your classes to all my friends and can't wait to take a Polymer Clay class with you when you relocate to your new home and studio.
Thanks again for a memorable and creative weekend.
Kind regards,
Davinia
Dear Pam,
Thank you for letting me enjoy your brilliant retreat. The last five days have been the most relaxing and informative experience ever.
The room and facilities were comfortable, clean and the atmosphere was welcoming form the minute I came up the drive way. I am glad that workshops were personalized and had the opportunity to duck away and experience the local facilities such as the massage and the quiches from the Bindoon bakery.
Most of all your ability to share your vast knowledge and experience with a beginner with such simplicity is very much appreciated. The range of tools, equipment and technical books available was enormous and well beyond my expectations. My final pieces are testimonial to your teaching skills.
I only wish I had more time to explore the property and all the technique you have to offer.
Already looking forward to my next visit :)
